PromptCare Home Infusion Agreed to Pay $966,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Paying Remuneration in the Form of Commissions for Marketing Services
After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, PromptCare Home Infusion, LLC (PromptCare), New Jersey, agreed to pay $966,924 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that PromptCare paid remuneration to an account manager in the form of commission under a marketing agreement, and in the form of salary and commission under a part-time employment agreement, for their referral of Federal health care program beneficiaries to PromptCare for services paid by Medicare and Medicaid.
