After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Piedmont Health Services, Inc. (Piedmont), Raleigh, North Carolina, agreed to pay $4,796,424 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that Piedmont submitted claims to Medicare for chronic care management that failed to comply with Medicare requirements.
