District of Columbia: Personal Health Care Aide Charged with Health Care Fraud

WASHINGTON – Amstrong Chapajong, 38, of Cheverly, Maryland, has been charged in an information with health care fraud in connection with an overlapping billing scheme that defrauded the District of Columbia’s Medicaid program.

This enforcement action is part of the larger, nationwide Takedown involved federal and state law enforcement agencies across the country and represents an unprecedented effort to combat health care fraud schemes that exploit patients and taxpayers.
