Pediatrician Arrested for Medicaid Fraud

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.-Attorney General Pam Bondi's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit and the Bay County Sheriff's Office today announced the arrest of a Bay County pediatrician for Medicaid provider fraud. A complaint to the Attorney General's fraud hotline initiated a Medicaid fraud investigation against Sameh Mohamed El Amir, 45, for allegedly stealing more than $250,000 from Florida Medicaid.
