Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center Norman and Five Physicians Agreed to Pay $267,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Submitting Claims for Drugs Obtained from Foreign Sources
After they self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center Norman, PC, David Bobb, M.D., Mark Moss, M.D., Michael Padilla, M.D., Vytautas Ringus, M.D., and R. Bradley Vogel, D.O., (collectively, “OSMCN”), Oklahoma, agreed to pay $267,226.80 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that OSMCN submitted claims to Federal health care programs for misbranded Orthovisc (an injectable) manufactured for foreign sale.
