Orlando Foot & Ankle Clinic Agreed to Pay $418,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Receiving Remuneration in Exchange for Referrals

After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Orlando Foot & Ankle Clinic, Inc. (OFAC), Florida, agreed to pay $418,256.66 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law provisions applicable to kickbacks. OIG alleged that OFAC received remuneration from Mid-Florida Pathology, LLC and Laboratory Services of Central Florida, LLC pursuant to arrangements for the provision of laboratory services.
