New London Hospital Association Agreed to Pay $10,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Retaining Medicare and Medicaid Overpayments

After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, The New London Hospital Association, Inc. (New London Hospital), New Hampshire, agreed to pay $10,000 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that New London Hospital allowed accrual of overpayments owed to the Medicare and New Hampshire Medicaid programs and, when New London Hospital became aware of the overpayments, it failed to timely return the overpayments to Medicare and New Hampshire Medicaid.
