Mountain View of Cascadia Agreed to Pay $33,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Submitting Claims for Services Provided by an Unlicensed Individual

After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Mountain View of Cascadia (Mountain View), Eureka, Montana, agreed to pay $33,740.70 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that Mountain View submitted claims for medication administered by an individual who was not licensed to administer medication. Single damages were calculated as the full salary and benefits paid to the individual during the period they worked without a valid license.
