Mid-Florida Pathology and Laboratory Services of Central Florida Agreed to pay $314,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Paying Remuneration for Provision of Services

After they self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Mid-Florida Pathology, LLC (MFP) and Laboratory Services of Central Florida, LLC (LSCF), Florida, agreed to pay $314,497.41 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law provisions applicable to kickbacks. OIG alleged that MFP and LSCF paid remuneration to Orlando Foot & Ankle Clinic, Inc. pursuant to arrangements for the provision of laboratory services.
