Lincoln Fire & Rescue Agreed to Pay $49,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Submitting Claims for Services by an Unlicensed Paramedic
After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, the City of Lincoln, Nebraska d/b/a Lincoln Fire & Rescue (LF&R), agreed to pay $49,122.27 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that LF&R employed an unlicensed individual to provide paramedic services that were paid for by Federal health care programs.
