Las Vegas Business Owner Sentenced to More Than 14 Years in Federal Prison for Orchestrating $13 Million Fraud Upon the North Carolina Medicaid Program
WILMINGTON, N.C. – Latisha Harron, a Las Vegas resident, was sentenced today to 170 months in federal prison and ordered to pay $13,396,921.64 in restitution to the North Carolina Medicaid Program on charges of Conspiracy to Commit Health Care Fraud and Wire Fraud, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 1349; Aggravated Identity Theft, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 1028A; and (5) Conspiracy to Commit Money Laundering, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 1956(h).
