IvyRehab Network Agreed to Pay $171,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Paying Remuneration to Physicians in the Form of Discounts and Waiving Patient Cost-Sharing Obligations

After they self-disclosed conduct to OIG, IvyRehab Network, Inc., IvyRehab Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language Pathology, PLLC, IVYREHAB Connecticut, Inc., IvyRehab Delaware, LLC, Progress Physical Therapy, LLC, IvyRehab Northern PT, LLC, and Elite Physical Therapy, LLC (collectively “IvyRehab”), New York, agreed to pay $171,993.44 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that IvyRehab paid remuneration to 53 physicians in the form of professional courtesy discounts and waiving patient cost-sharing obligations.
