Former Whitesville Pharmacy to Pay Civil Monetary Penalties to Resolve Alleged Violations of the Controlled Substances Act

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Mountaineer Drug, Inc. (“MDI”), which operated a pharmacy in Whitesville, Boone County, has agreed to pay civil monetary penalties to resolve allegations that the pharmacy violated the Controlled Substances Act (CSA) by filling illegitimate prescriptions.
