Former Detroit Pharmacist to Stand Trial for Medicaid Fraud
LANSING – Today, Remigius U. Onimo, 64, of Solon, Ohio, was bound over to stand trial in the 30th Circuit Court in Ingham County on one count of Health Profession-Unauthorized Practice, a felony punishable by up to four years’ incarceration and/or a fine of not more than $5,000.00, and two counts of Medicaid Fraud-False Claim, each punishable by up to four years’ incarceration and/or $50,000 fine, announced Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel. He was charged by the Attorney General in April.
