First Care Ohio Agreed to Pay $122,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Submitting False Claims for Ambulance Services

After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, First Care Ohio, LLC (First Care), Cincinnati, Ohio, entered into a $122,192.22 settlement agreement with OIG. The settlement agreement resolves allegations that First Care submitted claims to Federal health care programs for ambulance services provided by an Emergency Medical Technician whose driver’s license had been previously suspended.
