Elizabeth Snoderly, DO Agreed to Pay $297,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Submitting Claims for Services that Exceeded the Number of Sessions Allowed
On June 10, 2022, Elizabeth A. Snoderly, DO, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, entered into a $297,130.76 settlement agreement with OIG. The settlement agreement resolves allegations that Dr. Snoderly submitted or caused to be submitted claims to Medicare for facet joint injections and denervations that exceeded the allowable number of sessions in a rolling 12-month period. OIG's Office of Audit Services and Office of Counsel to the Inspector General, represented by Senior Counsels David Traskey and Gregory Becker with the assistance of Program Analyst Mariel Filtz, collaborated to achieve this resolution.
