Elite Medical Transport Agreed to Pay $144,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Submitting Claims for Services Containing Forged and Invalid Signatures

After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Elite Medical Transport of Texas, LLC d/b/a Elite Medical Transport (Elite), El Paso, Texas, agreed to pay $144,669.97 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that Elite submitted claims for ambulance transport services containing forged and otherwise invalid signatures.
