CenterPointe Hospital Agreed to Pay $55,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Employing an Excluded Individual

On September 27, 2022, Little Hills Healthcare, LLC d/b/a CenterPointe Hospital (CenterPointe), St. Charles, Missouri, entered into a $55,452.56 settlement agreement with OIG. The settlement agreement resolves allegations that CenterPointe employed an individual who was excluded from participating in any Federal health care program. OIG's investigation revealed that the excluded individual, a mental health technician, provided items or services that were billed to Federal health care programs.
