Capital Cardiology Associates Agreed to Pay $2.8 Million for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Submitting Claims for Services Performed by Non-Enrolled Providers
After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Capital Cardiology Associates, P.C. (CCA), Albany, New York, agreed to pay $2,836,219 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that CCA falsely represented the rendering provider on claims to Federal health care programs when the services were actually performed by other providers who were not enrolled.
