Bridges Aid Services Agreed to Pay $40,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Employing an Excluded Individual

On July 13, 2023, Bridges Aid Services (BAS), Roseville, Minnesota, entered into a $40,153.10 settlement agreement with OIG. The settlement agreement resolves allegations that BAS employed an individual who was excluded from participating in any Federal health care program. OIG's investigation revealed that the excluded individual, a direct support professional, provided items or services that were billed to Federal health care programs.
