Bridge Crest Post Acute Agreed to Pay $43,000 fo r Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Submitting Claims for Services Provided by an Unlicensed Individual

After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Bridge Crest Post Acute (Bridge Crest), Vancouver, Washington, entered into a $43,519.13 settlement agreement with OIG. The settlement agreement resolves allegations that Bridge Crest submitted claims to Federal health care programs for services provided by a Licensed Practical Nurse with an expired license. Single damages were calculated as the full salary and benefits paid to the Licensed Practical Nurse during the period they worked without a valid license.
