Benimar Medical Center Was Excluded for 20 Years

Effective July 24, 2026, OIG excluded Benimar Medical Center, Inc. (Benimar), Miami, Florida, from participation in all Federal health care programs for a period of twenty years under 42 U.S.C. 1320a-7(b)(7). The exclusion was imposed based on Benimar’s submission of claims for wound care services purportedly furnished by an endocrinologist who had no association with Benimar and did not provide the services as claimed, including services purportedly rendered to deceased beneficiaries.
