Attorney General Ra˙l Torrez and USDOJ Secure Nearly $4 Million Settlement for Medicaid Fraud Scheme in New Mexico
Albuquerque, NM ľ In conjunction with the U.S. Department of Justiceĺs Health Care Fraud Strike Force Program, a judge with the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico has accepted a plea agreement for Dorothea Irving of Farmington. In the agreement, Irving pled guilty to Conspiracy to Commit Health Care Fraud by filing fraudulent Medicaid claims of $3.9 million in non-emergency medical transportation. In addition to paying the nearly $4 million, Irving faces a maximum of 10 years in prison.á
