Assure Holdings and Assure Neuromonitoring Were Excluded for Defaulting on Payment Obligations

On March 20, 2025, OIG excluded Assure Holdings Corp. and Assure Neuromonitoring LLC (collectively, ōAssureö), Denver, Colorado, for defaulting on their payment obligations under a Settlement Agreement (Agreement) with the Department of Justice and OIG. Assure previously entered into the Agreement for paying improper remuneration to surgeons through joint venture companies to induce those surgeons to order intraoperative neuromonitoring services from Assure. The exclusion goes into effect immediately and will remain in effect until OIG reinstates Assure. In order to be eligible for reinstatement, Assure must cure the default of their payment obligations in the Agreement.
