A.G. Schneiderman Announces Charges Against Herkimer County Certified Nurse's Aide Accused of Striking a Nursing Home Resident

UTICA - Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman today announced the arrest and arraignment of Renee Geloso, 24, of Ilion, who was arraigned on charges of Endangering the Welfare of an Incompetent or Physically Disabled Person in the First Degree and Willful Violation of the Public Health Law before Ilion Town Justice Stephen Canipe in Ilion Village Court. It is alleged that while working as a Certified Nurse Aide at the Valley Health Services in Herkimer, Geloso struck a resident when she became frustrated with the resident.
