Review of Minnesota's Reporting Fund Recoveries for Federal and State Programs on the CMS-64 for the Period October 1, 2005, Through December 31, 2008

For the period October 1, 2005, through December 31, 2008, we determined that Minnesota did not report: (1) Medicaid overpayments totaling $58,000 ($29,000 Federal share) in accordance with Federal requirements and (2) Medicaid overpayments at the correct Federal medical assistance percentages resulting in a $22,000 understatement of the Federal share. In addition, the State did not report 26 of the 109 Medicaid provider overpayments reviewed within the 60-day time requirement.
