Review of Medicaid Payments at Cummings Healthcare LTC Group for State Fiscal Years 2007 through 2009

The Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Service, Office of Medicaid (the State agency) made overpayments totaling $67,000 ($35,000 Federal share) to Cummings Healthcare LTC Group during State fiscal years 2007 through 2009 because the State agency did not adjust its Medicaid per diem payments by the amount of beneficiaries' cost-of-care contributions from other resources, such as Social Security and pensions.
