For the period October 2005 through September 2008, the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (the State agency) submitted unallowable Title IV-E claims for services provided to 27 children after they reached age 19. As a result, the State agency's Federal claim was overstated by $238,000 (Federal Share) for maintenance costs and by $35,000 for related administrative costs.
