Medicare Part B Carrier Payments for Neulasta Injections in the District of Columbia for Calendar Years 2004 Through 2007

TrailBlazer Health Enterprises, LLC, overpaid $28,000 for 31 Medicare payments for Neulasta injection claims submitted by two providers during calendar years 2004 through 2006. Because of our audit, Highmark Medicare Services, the current Medicare contractor for the District of Columbia, recovered $22,000 for 27 of the overpayments but stated that it could not recover the remaining overpayments.
