Robison Medical Resource Group and Gifted Nurses Agreed to Pay $934,000 to Resolve Self-Reported False Claims Liability in Connection with Small Business Contracts

After it self-disclosed conduct to the United States Department of Justice and OIG (collectively, the “United States”), Robison Medical Resource Group, LLC and Gifted Nurses, LLC (collectively, “RMRG”), Metairie, Louisiana, entered a $934,788.60 False Claims Act settlement. The settlement agreement resolves allegations that from January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2021, RMRG bid on, and subsequently submitted claims for payment under, certain contracts and delivery orders (“the Small Business Contracts”); in connection with its bids on the Small Business Contracts, RMRG falsely represented to the United States that it was a small business when, in fact, it did not qualify as a small business under 13 C.F.R. Part 121; and RMRG’s representation of its small business status caused the United States to award RMRG the Small Business Contracts.
