Hialeah Man Arrested for Medicaid Fraud

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.-Attorney General Pam Bondi's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit arrested Alfonso Garcia, 50, for allegedly defrauding Medicaid out of more than $270,000. According to the investigation, Alfonso Garcia supplied Medicaid recipients' pharmaceuticals to a co-conspirator and was paid through Garcia's corporations by using fraudulent invoices to disguise the source of the income.
