FHI 360 Agreed to Pay $82,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Misappropriating Grant Funds
After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, FHI 360, North Carolina, agreed to pay $82,678.50 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that a former employee of FHI 360 misappropriated funds from CDC award 1NU2GGH002253-01-00. Specifically, OIG alleged the former employee modified vendor bank account information in 41 transactions causing payments to be made from the CDC award to both the vendor and the officer’s personal bank account.
