Assisted Living Facility Operator Arrested for Theft

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.-Attorney General Bondi's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit and agents from the Health and Human Service's Office of the Inspector General and the Social Security Administration arrested a Broward County woman for property and identity theft. Ilfrenise Charlemagne operated Hilcrest Residential ALFand Pleasant Alternatives, both assisted living facilities in Pinellas County. While operating the facilities, Charlemagne allegedly stole residents' social security money and billed the Florida Medicaid program for services not rendered.
