After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, A1 Pharmacy & Surgical Supply, LLC (A1 Pharmacy), North Carolina, agreed to pay $515,060.68 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that A1 Pharmacy submitted claims for brand name diabetes monitoring and treatment supplies when, in fact, A1 Pharmacy had dispensed a less expensive brand or generic supplies.
