Audit of HHS Information Technology Recovery Readiness
HHS is responsible for administering programs that support the health and welfare of one in four Americans. HHS also leads the nation's medical and public health preparedness for, response to, and recovery from disasters and public health emergencies. To ensure continuity of this extensive mission and in accordance with Federal mandates, HHS must have effective contingency plans in place to ensure that it continues to meet its mission in the event of a disaster or major disruption. We will determine whether HHS has effective contingency planning for its information technology systems
