Review of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' Strategic Communication Contracts

The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guides the acquisition process by which executive agencies of the Federal Government acquire goods and services by contract with appropriated funds. HHS Acquisition Regulation establishes acquisition policies and procedures that implement and supplement the FAR. OIG is reviewing CMS's awarding of contracts for strategic communications work. We will determine compliance with applicable Federal statutes, regulations, and HHS policies and procedures.
