Spring 2012 Semiannual Report
Spring 2012 Semiannual Report

The Office of Inspector General's (OIG) Semiannual Report to Congress keeps the Secretary of the Department of Health & Human Services and Congress currently informed about OIG's most significant findings, recommendations, and activities for specific 6-month periods. Historically, about 80 percent of OIG's resources are directed to work related to Medicare and Medicaid. This is mirrored in the organization and content of the report.
This spring edition of the Semiannual Report to Congress covers October 1, 2011 to March 31, 2012. In addition to the full-text version, we provide below smaller breakout files of the major parts of the document.
