The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, which received approximately $1.6 million in National Institutes of Health funds for Genome-Wide Association Studies for the period July 1, 2009, to June 30, 2011, claimed costs that were allowable, allocable, and reasonable and in accordance with applicable Federal regulations. The funds were provided under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
