Indiana Incorrectly Reported Expenditures on the Form CMS-64 at the Enhanced Federal Medical Assistance Percentage Rate

For the quarter ending December 31, 2010, we determined that Indiana had incorrectly claimed Medicaid expenditures totaling $4.2 million as Indian Health Service expenditures, which resulted in the State agency overstating the Federal share of Medicaid expenditures by $993,000.
