Medicare Made Payments to United Healthcare of Wisconsin, Inc. Under Part D for Drugs That Were Already Covered Under Part C

The Medicare Part D program incurred gross drug costs for Medicare Advantage beneficiaries during skilled nursing facility and inpatient hospital stays that were covered under Part C in 2008. United Healthcare of Wisconsin, Inc. agreed to refund $53,000 to the Federal Government, which included $1,500 to impacted beneficiaries.
