Review of Medicaid High-Dollar Payments for Inpatient Services in Illinois From January 1, 2006, Through September 30, 2007— Hospitals With Fewer Than Five High-Dollar Payments

Of the 62 high-dollar Medicaid payments ($200,000 or more) that the State made to hospitals for inpatient services for the period January 1, 2006, through September 30, 2007, 17 were appropriate. The 45 remaining payments included overpayments totaling approximately $635,000 ($318,000 Federal share).
