Maryland generally complied with Federal and State requirements for Medicaid payments made to Multi-Medical for nursing facility services. However, some claims included unallowable services. We estimate that Maryland improperly claimed $37,000 ($19,000 Federal share). In addition, Multi-Medical had some weaknesses in facility practices.
