Review of New Jersey's Medicaid Management Information System Expenditures for the Period January 1, 2006, Through December 31, 2007

New Jersey's claims for Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) costs were generally allowable. Of the $61.1 million (Federal share) in MMIS costs that New Jersey claimed at the enhanced Federal reimbursement rate of 75 percent, $60.2 million was allowable. The remaining $876,000 was claimed at an incorrect Federal reimbursement rate ($824,000) or unallowable ($52,000).
