Attorney General Laxalt Announces Sentencing of Medicaid Provider
Las Vegas, NV - Nevada Attorney General Adam Paul Laxalt announced that Shana Wickersham, 38, of Las Vegas, was sentenced this week in a Medicaid fraud case. Justice Court Judge Deborah Lippis sentenced Wickersham for one misdemeanor offense of submitting false Medicaid claims. The fraud occurred between October 2012 and April 2014. As part of the sentence, Judge Lippis ordered the payment of $30,000 in restitution, penalties and costs.
