Review of Medicare Outpatient Billing for Selected Drugs at University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics
Executive Summary
For 19 of the 110 line items reviewed, University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics did not bill Medicare for injections of selected drugs in accordance with Federal requirements and received overpayments totaling $77,000, which had not been refunded by the beginning of our audit.
